Ino- afghan security pact.

http://afpak.foreignpolicy.com/posts/2011/10/26/indian_afghan_strategic_partnership_perceptions_from_the_ground

There was much speculation about the India Afghanistan security pact. Some called it the doom of Indian foreign policy. However as much as i respect Dr. Manmohan Singh, i wasnt able to grasp what economic purposes it stood to serve.
It is a high risk. Its like challenging the Pakistani intelligence blatantly.
However it does have economic benefits in mind too.

After reading this article I realised how important this means for India in its effort to check Growing Chinese noose around its neck.
But its unquestionable that the risk is high! But some gambles are simply meant to be played.
The afghans and indian people have always have had affinity for each other. Lets hope that this affection in the people can be reflected in the governments too and we can enter the next era together as partners.
I am fascinated by the India of the bygone era. For most youth of my generation and my means stories are the only means to know of it and these tales can be so fascinating that you tend to ignore them. They seem to be more of fairy tales than reality. But them you come across somthing like this...
A picture collection which you cant nullify. And its got pictures like hunting cheetahs of India which are extinct from the entire sub-continent! Its like your life becoming complete in a small little way! And the little cart drawn by antelopes! The famed blackbuck, the only true antelope of the sub continent! what could be a more incredible sight!
this collection is mind numbing for sure!
Please do have a look :)

Cross cultural

Many a times my friends ask me why i have all these friends from other countries i don't know and probably never will meet them either.
Its for a simple reason, i don't wish to be limited by restriction i didn't choose.
It helps me learn about their culture their life and what are the things that occupy their minds.
Apart from that which was the expected result out of befriending them there were some unexpected results too. One of these and which no one can guess is... 'A better understanding of my own culture and society.'
For those of you from India this can be summarized in the saying "Ghar ki Murgi Dal barabar".
Yes, its sad but its true! While we live in a bubble of our own creation, there are things present right in front of us that we ignore. Some times in order to see things which your eyes are not conditioned to see you have to borrow others eyes.
One such case if a friend of mine who is a Catalan, studying in Hungary. She sent me these videos today. She says when she i down they help her fill up with energy.
I hadn't expected what these will turn out to be!
Have a look please :)

Today in this world when most of us who are in good jobs and doing well in life feel highly out of place. There are some stories that just pop up in front of us and tell us all out answers!
Life is about nothing else but passion.
What use is money or well being. Its just to show off to your neighbours.
If you can do a small thing and be among the top !% of that its better than being among the dragger in a field that kills you every morning as you wake up!
This video is about one such story.
